SIXT Case Study
SIXT recently became established in New Zealand, under the umbrella of the wider Giltrap Group, and InMotion were tasked with launching the brand digitally.
Problem
We were tasked with launching a global car rental brand, SIXT, in New Zealand, primarily through digital channels. Additionally, our launch needed to convey a complex story, as SIXT were planning to position themselves as a new mobility company offering both premium rentals plus a subscription service – a category and concept that Kiwis were completely unfamiliar with. (Not easy!)
Solution
We created a launch campaign, and now on-going work, which delivered a range of messages about new mobility in a quirky, witty and aspirational way through the line.
Results
The brand launch campaign instantly struck a cord, racking up over 1.6 million views. We followed this up with a campaign featuring Double Olympic Gold winner Zoi Sadowski-Synnott. Off the back of this work the brand is going from strength to strength, and has quickly gained brand awareness and market share. Additionally, the work we’ve done with them was named ‘Best Digital’ at the SIXT Global Awards.
